Nintendo Switch 2: what we already repair at the workshop
The Switch 2 arrived in school bags at the same time as in shop windows. So did the first drops.
A year after launch, the Switch 2 is starting to come through the workshop. Its construction resembles the OLED's, with a larger screen and a denser logic board. Here is where we are.
Already repairable
- Cracked LCD screen: the full panel is available.
- Torn USB-C port: both ports (top and bottom) are replaced by micro-soldering.
- Battery: new cell, capacity tested.
- Noisy fan and full clean.
- Game-card reader that no longer reads games.
- Rails for the new magnetic Joy-Con: in progress, depending on parts availability.

The touch glass alone (the panel is bonded, we replace the assembly for now), the charging circuit and the logic board: schematics and components are arriving little by little. We tell you after diagnosis what is possible, and the price before we start.
Our advice
A case and a screen protector from day one, an official or branded Power Delivery charger, and no third-party dock until compatibility is proven: the Switch 2 charges harder than the first, and charging chips don't like surprises.
