iPhone battery replacement
The phone dies at 30%, gets hot while charging, or shows “Service” under battery health: the battery is worn. We replace it in half an hour, by appointment, with a new cell whose capacity is tested before the phone goes back to you.
When to change the battery
- Maximum capacity under 80% in Settings › Battery › Battery Health.
- Sudden shutdowns while charge remains.
- Slow phone, iOS throttling performance.
- Swollen battery: the screen lifts, the back bulges. Change it quickly, don't wait.
What we do
Open the screen, remove the old battery without forcing (swollen ones need a little method), fit a new battery with new adhesives, new seal, then charge test and capacity reading. On recent iPhones we handle the “unknown part” message and explain what it means.
