Nintendo Switch repair
The Switch travels in bags, falls off bunk beds and gets charged with any cable that's lying around. The result: cracked screens, torn USB-C ports and burnt charging chips. We repair all of it, including at component level on the logic board.
What we repair on the Switch
- Cracked screen or dead touch: LCD or OLED screen, or touch glass alone.
- Won't charge: torn USB-C port, or charging circuit burnt by an unofficial charger or dock (component-level repair).
- Joy-Con rails that no longer recognise the controllers.
- Game-card reader: “Unable to read the game card”.
- Loud fan, console getting hot, full clean.
- Dock that no longer shows on the TV.
The charging circuit: the typical fault
A Switch that stays black, battery flat, and doesn't react to the charger: very often the charging chip (M92T36 or equivalent) is to blame, not the battery. We replace it by micro-soldering, which avoids changing the logic board and losing your unsynced saves.
