Why drone repair prices start with “from”
You prefer a firm price, so do we. Here is why, on drones, we can only announce it once we have opened up.
For an iPhone, a Galaxy, a console, the prices page gives a fixed price per repair, and that is what you pay. For drones every line starts with “from”. Here is why.
One part, several versions
“DJI Mini” covers the Mini 2, Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro, Mini 4K: five different gimbals, five different flexes, at different prices. So the same fault doesn't have one price, but a price per version.
One crash, several damages
The drone that hit a tree arrives with a broken arm; under the cover we also find the gimbal flex pinched and a motor bent. The final price adds up what is really broken, no more, no less.
How it goes in practice
- You send or bring us the drone (no propellers, with one battery and the controller).
- We strip it down and list everything that needs replacing or repairing.
- You receive a firm, itemised price by message or phone.
- Nothing is ordered without your agreement. If you decide against it, you pay only the diagnosis.
Services without parts (calibration, battery check, update) are at fixed prices. And sea-water damage is quoted, because only after cleaning do we know what survived.
