The 12-month warranty: what it covers, and what it doesn't
A warranty should be read before you need it. Ours fits on one page.
What is covered
The part fitted and the work done, for twelve months from the repair date. A screen with a display defect, a battery losing capacity abnormally, a port playing up again, a logic-board repair that doesn't hold: we take the device back and redo the repair, free of charge, return Colissimo included for mailed-in devices.
What isn't covered
- New breakage: a new screen that falls and cracks isn't a screen defect. Same for new water damage.
- A different fault: the warranty covers the repair done, not the whole device. If we replaced the battery and the speaker fails six months later, that is a new repair, with the diagnosis deducted as usual.
The case of water damage and logic boards
They are guaranteed like the others. An honest note: on a device that has been corroded, we clean and replace what is affected, but we can't rule out another area degrading later. If it happens within the twelve months, we look, and if it is linked to the original fault, we take care of it.
How to claim
A call, a text or the form, with the repair date. No receipt to dig out: we have your file. We give you a slot or you send the device back.
Compatible screens and original screens carry the same warranty. Used parts from donor boards, sometimes used in micro-soldering, too.
