A year after launch, the iPhone 17 is a regular at the workshop. Its construction stays close to the iPhone 16, with a back that opens for repairs and a battery held by electrically releasable adhesives.

- Original screen: fitted in under an hour, True Tone kept. The premium compatible screen is coming and will be added to the prices as soon as it reaches the quality we require.
- Battery: new cell, capacity tested.
- USB-C port, back glass by laser, rear and front cameras, speaker, earpiece, buttons, mic.
- Water damage: cleaning and corrosion removal, 49 €.
- Logic board at component level and data recovery: 149 €, like every model.
What changes with this model
Apple has widened its parts programme with simplified pairing for several components, which reduces “unknown part” messages after repair. Original part prices stay high in the first year; they generally drop from the second.
Our advice
A glass screen protector from day one and a case with a raised edge: the original screen is the most expensive part of the phone. And a certified USB-C charger, so as not to damage the charging circuit.
